This is the best garden in the tulip festival. Its enormous and has that lovely "sea of color" effect. Go on a weekday morning and it's not too crowded. If you're going during a busier time (weekends especially) bring cash with you. They run two entrance lines and the cash line moves twice as fast as the credit card line. Wear some sturdy rubber boots and clothes that you don't mind getting a bit dirty.
The people who work here are not very friendly. It felt like we were bothering them by shopping there.
They also had a "Sale" but we didn't think the prices were all that good.
visited because we were driving through town. Although there were no more tulips in season we still enjoyed the shop and walking around the gardens.
I know the quality of their bulbs are good but Tulip Town has better prices, friendlier people, and is in the same area.
I've been in Washington for 6 years and I can never get tired of the tulip festival. It's nice to take the time away from my busy schedule, grab my DSLR, and take some beautiful photos of the tulips, and enjoy the beautiful sunset.
Won't be going back
I highly recommend you visit this site during the weekday. It can be extremely busy over the weekend.
