At this place is really nice place kind of expensive no it's out by the water tower dumps into the ocean it's pretty it's really windy out there though and the owner he's cool she's not so much the only downfall
We stayed here this weekend for a baseball tourney! It was great peaceful and so beautiful! Bob our neighbor was such a riot and so welcoming! The cabin we stayed in was clean warm and the bed was amazing! Campgrounds are clean! We will be staying here every year!
The woman who answered the phone said the RV park had full hookup. It didn't. There was no cable and no wifi. I have stayed in a lot of RV parks and they give you a map of the park etc. We got nothing. My hubby said she didn't ask for our license number or anything. It was all about the $40.00 she charged us for full hookup we did not get. We won't be back. If there is one thing I hate it's money grubbing people. Basically this place sucked.
Stayed there a few years ago and it was ok (except for having to spend a fortune in quarters to take a quick shower on top of the overpriced camp sites). Went this weekend because we wanted to fish (were told by the woman on the phone when we called that yes we could fish, and the fishing was great right now). Found out after we set up camp that the river was closed to fishing. Not only that, this place has now become a shabby long term trailer park with a few camp sites. The "residents" treat the camp sites as their own personal space to take their dogs to the bathroom and leave the mess for campers to pick up. They wander into your campsite with no problem, work on their vehicles at all hours, and sit and watch you. Early Sunday morning we had to stop eating breakfast and move our truck (from the site we paid for) so that they had room to move in another long term trailer. Sorry, but for $30 a night for a tiny patch of dirt and sketchy environment and dog poop, we'll go elsewhere next time.
First of all we stayed here for 6 months and my wife had become friends with the owners so we did not get the burn right away but did hear it constantly from the other patrons that the owners were nickel and dining them. They showed up one day and said our lot rent had been raised the month before and wanted the difference. I asked why she did not tell me the week before or in writing and she said she forgot to tell me (not my problem). She agreed to only charge us half of the raise (that we never agreed to) and we were just stuck with it. On top of that let's be clear "this is not a resort"! It is a giant parking lot next to the River. My first impression when my wife asked if I wanted to stay here was no because I thought it looked like a dump. There is construction equipment everywhere and the playground is full of dog poop. As well the owners have cut down nearly all the trees so the wind On most days is crazy. But... My wife talked me into it because it was cheap. It is no longer cheap so we moved. We were polite and respectful to the owners the whole time and after we moved recived a nasty text message from the husband telling us never to come back!!! What a douche, don't worry us and all of our friends will make sure to stay clear of your slum.
