I am gluten free and my sister and sister in law are both vegan. We love coming here when we are in town because we have never enjoyed breakfast, lunch, pastries and pizza as much as we enjoy shambala's creations! The were testing gluten free donuts the last time I was there and hope they continue to make them. I hadn't had a donut in 4 years and was so excited by this little pastry I bought 2. They are truly magicians, because everything tastes amazing!
Anyone will love it as it is truly delicious food but so refreshing to have a cafe that also caters to those with food allergies or special diets.
Ate there for the first and last time last night. So much wrong with this place. Got there a little after 5:00pm and there were only tow other couples in the place and it still took 30 plus minutes to get our food. The woman who I perceived as the owner was more interested in leaving then customer service. When I was self employed in retail sales the job wasn't done just because I wanted to leave. Ok the food. Very mediocre. My wife ordered the French toast which they burnt. My potatoes were way over done, though the toast (only one slice) was decent. The eggs were not real hot like they had been setting for a while before they were plated. We waited soooo long for meals they should have been up in ten minutes that I was on the verge of canceling when they finally came out. We should have sent the food back but that could have take another large amount of time. Remember there were only three tables that they had to take care of this whole time. We tried to salvage this bad experience with dessert to go. Wrong decision! The cookie sandwich which we thought was $4 turned out to be $7 due to the signage being mixed up in the bakery case and the cupcake I ordered was very dry like it had been made several days ago. Oh and the waitress smashed the frosting on top when she put it in a Chinese noodle take out container! Like I said never again!
Shambala Bakery is amazing! Everything I have tried from here has been amazing. Their cupcakes, scones, cookies, bread, and several lunch entrees have all been delicious. In particular, my favorite lunch is the Sunshiner sandwich. The atmosphere inside is quaint and the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. This place is a favorite in my office and we often get treats for the staff here. I am not gluten-free myself but I appreciate that all of their products taste just as good (and sometimes better!) than regular bread/wheat products. Also very affordable prices. All in all, an amazing place with a lot of great options.

This place is so cute and cozy! I came in during a slower time and staff was so nice, patient because I was having a hard time choosing amd just overall wonderful. They are brand new and amazing so check them out when you can!

Absolutely delicious baked goods. Their cupcakes are amazing. I always build my own pizza and walk out with dessert.
